New description:

In preparation for presentation at a Dec 16 PCORI meeting, Marianne Z. has
requested we fill out attachment:Table1_Basic_11202015v5_GPC.xlsx . It
 has two sheets:

  - **Population Characterization**
    - which seems to correlate somewhat with our quarterly QA queries
  - **Cohort Characterization**
    - which see #441

Comment:

 As discussed 8 Dec (#12):
   - **This request is an effort to get minimal information ASAP** per MZ
Dec 2. So when in doubt, make your best guess. Bonus points for explaining
any differences between what you did and what MZ asked for.
   - Regardless of how you come up with your answers for your population as
a whole, put them in the
 [https://redcap.gpcnetwork.org/redcap_v6.2.2/DataEntry/grid.php?pid=19 GPC
Quarterly QA Check Repository] redcap project.
     - ''note: in contrast, we're using email to DC/BZ for the cohort stuff
 #441''
   - One approach is to use the [https://bitbucket.org/DanC/gpc-qa-
quarterly/ gpc-qa-quarterly] SQL code; rev b8a6546 includes recent work in
 this area.
     - This approach isn't constrained to the dates and such that MZ asked
for, but we hope it's still useful.
   - Another approach is to use an i2b2 query such as "Demo breakdown for
MZ 14 Dec [12-8-2015]" on babel, which attempts to match more closely the
 time-spans she requested.
