To provide additional clarification, sites that pass the Data
Characterization metrics are excluded from submitting written responses.
This includes: KUMC, MCRF, and MCW.
All other sites must complete the Data Characterization Questions and
Answers (Appendix B of the "Memo To Liaisons" attached to this ticket),
which includes the Annotated Data Dictionary: 1.) explaining any field
that has more than 20% missing/unknown values and 2.) identified issues
(2-5).
1. The "Memo To Liaisons" includes descriptions of each issue (1-5) and
where to find more information in the Empirical Data Characterization
(EDC) report. If you ran the EDC locally and there are any discrepancies
with the file you received from the coordinating center, follow their
document.
2. If you have questions about how to address some of the issues, refer to
the EDC report and the CDM v3 specifications.
3. If you're having issues, others may be as well. Please reach out!
The response is due to DRN OC by Friday, May 20; however, a draft needs to
be sent to KUMC (Russ Waitman, Michael Prittie, Nathan Graham, and Dan
Connolly) by end of day Friday, May 13.
