As far as I know, the judging critiera for cycle 2 haven't been shared. I flipped thru the Aug 1 slides and I don't see anything concrete there either.
New requirements do arrive from time to time; for example, stay tuned for the Aug 11 DRN Forum where "details and associate timeline for the Obesity Demonstration Projects’ Wave 1 Data Characterization Query" is on the agenda (ticket:510#comment:5<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/510#comment:5>). That seems consistent with slide 27: PCORnet Bariatric Surgery (PBS) study specific data characterization (SSDC) distributed in early August We do have an answer to Q1 on record. In reviewing #492<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/492>, I find a June 8 comment: ... the study involves both inpatient and outpatient encounters, for both dispensing and prescribed medications defined in the Antibiotics functional requirements So if you're participating in the antibiotic trial, that says the answer to Q1 is yes, you need both DISPENSING and PRESCRIBING. (I don't see any indication that labs, meds, and death are limited to 3 tables on slide 11.) If there's newer information, I trust Jim McClay will correct me. On slide 37 re ADAPTABLE, I see "Dispensing and/or Prescribing" so that's not real clear. I suppose it will become clear by "Estimated release date: 4th quarter 2016". I'm not aware of any requirements for DEATH_CONDITION (I searched for it in GPC trac and got no hits). Is there really anything new here to discuss? -- Dan ________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of Mosa, Abu S. Subject: CDMV3 - Data characterization cycle 2 Hi All, New tables: In addition to the tables that we incorporated in cycle 1, we need to incorporate some new tables in cycle 2. Not sure where to find the right information. What I know so far is from the slide 11 of the attached PPT (DRN OC Updates on August 1); there are indication of incorporating 3 new tables (labs, meds and death). So, some questions have been raised by our team members. Q1. For meds, do we need to incorporate both DISPENSING and PRESCRIBING table? If so, the table count should be more than 3. Q2. For death, do we need to incorporate both DEATH and DEATH_CAUSE/DEATH_CONDITION? If so, the table count should be more than 3. Q3. Is there any other table that we need to incorporate? Judging criteria: Q1. What are the judging criteria for data characterization cycle 2? I think we shall discuss this in detail during the dev call.
