Hi Jim,

I can't speak for other sites, but with Marshfield there wasn't concern about
connecting the DataMart Client to our CDM database. We have a similar
connection in place/previously approved for Sentinel "Summary Requests."

Setting it up for MS SQL server was straight-forward. We just created a custom
local account with access to the 'PopMedNet' database on the server with the
appropriate port. This is something that our team could add; we didn't need to
work through administrators.

Sorry to not be more help!

Thanks,
Laurel

Thanks Laurel,
If everyone else already completed the MDQ. What is the special sauce to make
it work? Did everyone else have any concerns about linking to their database
server?

Jim

Hi Dan,

The Menu-Drive Query that is due today (12/21) was only distributed to Group 2
sites that did not complete the MDQ during cycle 1. KUMC does not need to take
any action.

Thanks,
Laurel

As far as I know, KUMC hasn't started on this menu-driven-query stuff. Were we
supposed to? Did I miss a clue?
