Maybe something like that would work.

Perhaps you could elaborate? I don't have a clear picture of what you have in 
mind. Sound coverage in which direction? From speakers in the room to remote 
participants or vice-versa? Do you mean unmuting when someone near them is 
talking? Otherwise it seems that everyone would have to be running GTM audio on 
their machine.

Doing audio stuff from multiple places in one room is a dark art, in my 
experience. Microphones and sound boards don't command the prices they do for 
no reason.

Perhaps it would suffice to have GTM VOIP running on a machine at the podium 
and put some effort into having the speaker repeat questions and for 
conversations elsewhere in the room, transcribing / summarizing into chat or 
google docs.

I am sorry to hear that Dan.  Do you suppose we could use the GTM VOIP and then 
designate several participants within the room to spread out sound coverage, 
unmuting when they are talking?
