Not sue how to respond in TRAC so .. I'd add ICD9 as well as CPT procedure codes for mastectomy because mastectomy is an inpatient procedure. The test case was to identify intraoperative axillary lymph node dissection during the mastectomy procedure.
We could get fancy and restrict this to people without chemotherapy before their mastectomy (this was another eligibility criterion in the real study). We should plan to link this to tumor registry afterward so we can see how results compare with abstracted data. -----Original Message----- From: GPC Informatics [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, February 27, 2017 11:59 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Cc: [email protected]; [email protected]; Smith, Nicholas C <[email protected]>; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; McDowell, Bradley D <[email protected]>; Chrischilles, Elizabeth A <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [gpc-informatics] #573: de-identified text notes for on a cohort-by-cohort basis #573: de-identified text notes for on a cohort-by-cohort basis --------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: dconnolly | Owner: rwaitman Type: enhancement | Status: assigned Priority: major | Milestone: gpc-phase2-h4 Component: data-sharing | Resolution: Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: 431 | --------------------------+---------------------------- Changes (by dconnolly): * cc: rwaitman, brad_mcdowell, bchrischilles (added) * owner: dconnolly => rwaitman * status: new => assigned Comment: Russ talked with breast cancer researchers about a possible initial use case / test case: - cohort inclusion criteria: mastectomy CPTs (perhaps with also registry data) - target text notes: operative notes Russ, Betsy, have I got that right?
