In the call today,the DCRI mentioned that it is ok to use the alternate
event definitions for pdx. i.e., use diagnosis code associated with an
inpatient encounter instead of primary diagnosis code associated with an
inpatient encounter. Attaching a screen shot of the alternate event
definitions that was discussed during the call this morning.
UPMC and Northwestern acted as beta testers for the Query 1. Lena reached
out to Laura Qualls to share the same with our CDRN.
