I see "Verify that you will use real diagnosis dates to select cohort" in the feedback items. I don't see "limited" in the CancerRCR<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/CancerRCR> project plan and I'm not aware of an approved IRB protocol. Russ suggested that since we're only using year to select the cohort, that should fall under de-identified. I reminded him of the screw case where we include Patient 123 in the 2013-2016 cohort, but we also report Dec 30, 2017 as the start_date of the primary site observation (the ETL code uses diagnosis date in this case), which reveals the date_shift for patient 123 to be exactly -364, which gives away the real dates corresponding to all shifted dates. Brad, Brian, Nick, if no other dates are collected, this issue goes away.
