Dear Hillary Sandoval,
10/8/2018 12:05:26 PM EST
Here are your most recent New Request Submitted notifications from PCORnet DRN
Query Tool.
Allison Haufler has submitted a new QE File Distribution request
PROD_P02_DQA_FDPRO_DCQ_NSD1_c005_r010_q412 in project PCORnet.
Description
The purpose of the Data Curation Query Package v4.12 is to characterize the
data in 17 of the PCORnet Common Data Model (CDM) v4.1 tables, and to partially
characterize the data in the OBS_GEN and OBS_CLIN tables. The package consists
of a code errors query, a data curation query and an Empirical Data Curation
Report which summarizes key information from the query output and evaluates the
results against PCORnet’s Data Check v5. Output tables will be produced by
running SAS programs against static local DataMarts in PCORnet CDM v4.1 with
SAS data types.

Additional Instructions
NOTE: A DataMart refresh must include at least 1 modification to the
previously approved data. If you have not made any changes, please decline
this query and specify why you are unable to respond in the comments field
This package incorporates the changes described on page 94 of the Work Plan.
The only significant change was splitting the data curation program apart into
3 programs (main, lab, and cross-table). Please note that users who choose to
run the data curation programs in a stepwise fashion will have more output
files than those who do not (16 vs. 10, see page 20 of the Work Plan). All
users may experience a slight increase in the total elapsed time to run the
package since the cross-table queries were separated out. We encourage you to
run this package as soon as possible and contact us at dr...@pcornet.org if you
have any questions about the new design.
Responses that do not contain all of the above necessary files plus the signed
and dated checklist will not be reviewed.

Dear Hillary Sandoval,
10/15/2018 12:46:37 PM EST
Here are your most recent New Request Submitted notifications from PCORnet DRN
Query Tool.
Kshema Nagavedu has submitted a new QE File Distribution request
rcr_pmp3_wp003_nsd2_v01_2018 in project PCORnet.
Description
This query was requested by the Hepatitis C RCR and will identify a cohort of
patients with a diagnosis code for hepatitis C and examine lab tests of
interest including HCV genotype, HCV VL, and HCV antibody. The Cohort Quality
Assessment module will be used to examine lab values and variable population in
the defined hepatitis C cohort.
Requester: Hepatitis C RCR and PCORnet Coordinating Center
Recipients: DMs that have been approved on Data Curation Cycle 4 or 5 will
receive queries using PMP3 and/or CQA program packages moving forward. To see
the DMs receiving and responding to all queries, see Queries Tracker:
https://pcornet.imeetcentral.com/p/aQAAAAACxN3h
* Please note: This query is being issued to all PCORnet DataMarts, not
only those participating in the Hepatitis C RCR .
Planned Use:
Results will be provided to the Hepatitis C RCR to identify a cohort of
patients with a diagnosis code for hepatitis C and examine lab tests of
interest including HCV genotype, HCV VL, and HCV antibody. The Cohort Quality
Assessment module will be used to examine lab values and variable population in
the defined hepatitis C cohort.
PCORnet Network and DataMart-level data will be shared with the requester. Only
PCORnet-level aggregated data may be presented or published on public-facing
websites (e.g. PCORnet.org), in a manuscript, or marketing materials describing
this cohort of interest in PCORnet. Responding to this query is acknowledgement
that your data can be aggregated into a PCORnet-level report for public-facing
venues.
CC may reuse Network and CDRN level aggregate data for internal planning and to
inform potential funding and research opportunities.
Package Contents: 1 work plan and 4 folders serving to organize program inputs
and outputs. Program folder structure described in work plan Section 5.
Instructions to execute master.sas program described in workplan Section 6.
SITES SHOULD ONLY RETURN THE FOLDER LABELED ‘DRN OC’ TO THE CC.
Query Request: This request will identify counts of unique patients ages 18-88+
with:
• HCV_ONLY*: a hepatitis C diagnosis code in the query period of 1/1/2017 to
12/31/2017
All counts will be stratified by age, sex, race, and Hispanic.
*Cohort Quality Assessment will be conducted on HCV_ONLY.
Query Period: 1/1/2017 – 12/31/2017
Counts will be stratified by age group, sex, race, Hispanic. Query will execute
against SAS tables (Demographic, Encounter, Diagnosis, Lab_Result_CM) in
PCORnet CDM v 3.1 or v 4.1 format.
The cohort will then undergo characterization using the Cohort Quality
Assessment (CQA) reusable tool to assess lab variables of interest. Detailed
account of the checks to be performed by CQA can be found in the query’s
technical specifications located here:
https://pcornet.imeetcentral.com/p/ZgAAAAAApnlQ
Output: 1 SAS program will process 1 run & generate a total of 11 output files
(10 files in ‘drnoc’ & 1 file in ‘dmlocal’ folder).
Please note that PCORnet protocol is changing so that requests will no longer
default to saving the intermediary files needed to recreate the request in the
dmlocal folder; only the log file will be saved to the dmlocal folder. Moving
forward, queries which require data retention for future use will be indicated
in the workplan.
DataMarts should choose to either (1) return output; (2) hold the query and
enter a note as to why the query is on hold; or (3) reject the query and enter
a note as to why the query is rejected.
Follow internal governance/policy for returning query output to CC.
