Hi Jay,

I recently installed i2b2 at Allina Health and I used the installation guide
and it was pretty straightforward. I didn't use VMware and installed it from
scratch. Other than some steps being old and outdated (easy to catch, e.g.
occasionally, you will see that they updated one section of the guide and
forgot to update the same step in other places. There is no "admin" folder in
1.7.10, but you can login via the web client using your admin username and
password), the installation process was pretty smooth. Please reach out to me
if you have any questions.

Currently, I am trying to figure out how to install i2b2 on top of our PCORnet
CDM. Please let me know if you are interested in doing the same and maybe we
can work together :)

Thanks,
Narayana

Thanks! Will give this a try.

Subject: i2b2 install instructions? 1.7.10 or 1.7.09c

Hi,

UNMC is switching from its Oracle-based i2b2 installation

to one that is MS-SQL based, and using a Wildfly web server

to support the i2b2 web (Java) software.

We would like to install i2b2 client version 1.7.10 (or possibly 1.7.09c)

and of course have a MS-SQL database that supports that.

I have looked for i2b2 installation information and

it appears that on i2b2.org they suggest using a VMware image.

I have seen old installation notes for installing version 1.7.07.

I am wondering if anyone in the GPC has any notes or pointers

to how to install a currently version of i2b2 from scratch,

either 1.7.09c or 1.7.10.

Thanks!
