Addressing the "Low Cell Count" Exception in the Data Curation Cycle 6, Third Refresh Performance Report:
I began to see query requests from the DRNOC recently asking to not suppress data for small cell sizes, and did not know why this change. When I responded to the Query Fulfillment team to say that we had local governance for suppressing small cell sizes, they said: Thank you for your question. The PMP program allows for you to update the masking parameter as required by your DM/CRN's governance. The default is 0, or no masking, given the CRN contract language around masking of cell counts. Can someone point out the GPC contract language and whether that might be included in our current DSA with GPC? I need the provenance of this change in order to process downstream with our specific compliance team (Cybersecurity) for responding to de-identified data queries via PopMedNet. I think this might fit into the conversations as we process the new PCORnet DSA V3.0 Meantime, we have to suppress small cell sizes per original PCORnet local compliance agreements.
