At the hackathon, I talked about goals for portable NAACCR ETL (#44<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/44>). UTSW was very interested in the idea of a single jar file. As much as I'd like to do that, in keeping with sticking with just the i2b2 platform (JVM, JDBC, ant) my exploratory work was in a python jupyter notebook and I ended up using python more than I had planned.
I have pretty much got it working on Docker (naaccr-tumor-data/issues/22<https://github.com/kumc-bmi/naaccr-tumor-data/issues/22>). Is that close enough? Does UTSW use docker? Is ETL for NAACCR v18 enough motivation to start using it? -- Dan
