Hi GPC-DEV,

I originally sent this to the GPC sites involved with the Bayer AFib/Aflutter
and Heart Failure study study, but thought others might have some insight to
offer as well.

The study is asking participating sites to find data elements in their EMR
systems and may those elements to their CDM, using LOINC codes - see the
attached spreadsheet. UIOWA is an EPIC site; so far we've worked with folks in
clinical operations and we found a few of the data elements; but we're still at
a loss for the majority of them.

Are any of you able to share either the names of any FLO sheets that might
contain the attached ECHO or CATH data elements, or perhaps you can offer
insight into what a n optimal approach might be? Even help on one or a subset
of data elements (e.g., "At my site some of the ECHO fields are captured in a
FLO sheet called 'this and that'") would be useful.

Note though that unlike some other sites (e.g., Duke), we don't have a standing
cardiology research informatics group that we can readily access; we do have a
few cardiologists who involved with ADAPTABLE and we might need to consult with
them.

Thanks,
Brian
