Colleagues,

I finally downloaded OOo 2.0 over the weekend. I've been using it all day to-day on a multi-page training handout with images and tables. I'm using MS Word format, for compatibility with the rest of the office, but I like the new interface, the noticeable speed increase over OOo 1.1.4 and the better overall handling.

I haven't use any of the more advanced features yet, but so far I see a product that will divert more potential MS Office users than ever before.

Plus, of course, the benefits of very fast .pdf export for web pages, my GP resource CD, and other projects.
