Hugh, I suppose there is nothing to stop you from approaching your local
specialists and offering to pay say half or even all of their costs in
installing Argus and whatever else they need to start being able to
accept emailed referrals from you and emailing their letters to you.
After all, maintaining one's ocean going yacht or fleet of Porsche
racing cars (as one Adelaide knee surgeon does) isn't cheap when you're
a hard up orthopaedic, plastic, cosmetic or ENT surgeon - there aren't
many dollars left over for paying for frivolities like electronic
communications with referring GPs.
