Duncan, if you are prepared to publish, or adhere to an already published, 
standard for messaging webservices, that's brilliant.
Whether you implement it in .NET or PDP-11 assembler, and whether it's open, 
closed or upside-down
are all completely beside the point.

Once I have the secure email system bedded down the next implementation will be a web interface to our EMR. This will allow GP's to logon to our EMR, make appointments for their patients, list tasks/messages for specialists and if we allow, look at the results, letters and our notes for their patients.

Being an optimist I hope to have this working by the end of this yr.
