I played on my computer this week-end. This is the stuff I was doing in
case you might be interested.

   1. Horst, I got my Stardom external USB boot RAID array. It's a very
sexy machine but booting from it seems a bit more problematic than
I had envisaged and booting e-smith seems impossible.
   2. The next version of e-smith looks worthwhile. It should go
"release" shortly. I understand that Gormand Pty Ltd
      (http://www.gormand.com.au/) is offering Australian commercial
support. The major advances seem to be a better update mechanism
(yum is redhat for apt-get) and clam-av is built in. One should
note that clam-av does not do "live scanning", however. I am not
sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
   3. I got my asterisk server to boot and recognise all the hardware.
Configuration remains a problem but I have installed [EMAIL PROTECTED]
for this. I am hoping this guide

      should make it relatively painless.
