So, what we do is that our receptionists store the patient's bank account details in the free text 'Notes' section of the patient's record in Pracsoft, and have to look this up and re-key it every time that we bill the patient, if the patient wishes us to get the Medicare rebate paid into his or her bank account.

I wuz wrong.

One or two versions ago, Pracsoft changed so that it does now store patients' bank account details, for automatic transmission with the claim. This is good.
