A client has brought to our attention a question in the questionaire
that is sent to clients before you upgrade them to MD3.
It apparently states 'at the moment MD3 does not support Argus'.
I am sure that the intention of HCN is honourable to make sure that the
client doesnt get any nasty surprises, however the statement is somewhat
misleading and is causing some alarm amongst yours and our clients.
I am aware the MD3 has not included the interfaces for sending
information out of MD3 via Argus (eg CARDIAB), however MD3 still retains
the common capability of receiving incoming messages coming from
pathology etc, which Argus does conform to. Also I suspect that our
MAPI interface to your email sending capability still works to send out
letters etc, however we have been unable to test this because we havent
yet received a test version of MD3 from HCN to put it through its paces.
Could HCN please correct this document and diminish any fears that your
users may have that their Argus implementation will now be ineffective?
