Thanks Peter I have been contemplating the most
efficient means of delivery of digital imaging to the Patient/client and the
Doctor/clinician referrer Pathology has (partially) overcome the
problem and patient concept of needing hardcopy results to personally transport
between doctors and keep at home- a copy can be forwarded electronically on
request /with permission from the patient- admittedly annoying to need to phone
– and a disturbance to the pathology reception staff. What would they do
if the phones were silent! My preference for receipt of imaging
results in order of preference would be:
