Ian of course. I had a go at getting wagtail going but ran into windows
issues with the crypto library iirc that were beyond my python level an
order of magnitude.

I think thats essentially what MO is doing for me now? I get a polling
app with a nice solid firebird database which is looking like being able
to route to argus without as well as within its own network and with
Andrews Capricorn clients on the GP end, offering a point to point
option outside MO's network with an open interface down the track?? Im
not sure about how or if it routes to say a thunderbird email client or
how that gets done or where the detailed specs are to do it etc. Horst
have you interoperated with MO's network?

I really havent absorbed the whole how MO works picture yet with the
complex routing setup and proxies etc.

I would like to support a fully open standards simple delivery option,
and would be happy to try otherwise everything Ive said and done with
messaging is contradicted from the last few years! Ive even considered
throwing chunks of money at the project except a) i dont know about if I
could get a result with the process b) nehta and the webservices
direction c) i dont know what im doing yet with so many things.

ive always stated Im happy to purchase proprietary software at my end to
improve my productivity tracking and reporting. Ive also been solidly
behind interoperability at the receiving end so any party can receive
from any other (pay to send, not "pay to send and pay to receive").

And Horst I know that your pseudocode could form a solid basis, its just
I dont have resources time or infrastructure to build test deploy
something like that...mostly I need a solution thats mature now not
tomorrow. referrers can be unforgiving if electronic downloads are not
completely sound!

There are lots of GPs and specialists out there who are technophobic and
non computerised and while they may have internet and use that a bit,
they have no clinical package to import a result into. What do they do
with a .pit file as an email attachment? I know I can open it in wordpad
and deal with it. I know its not a real biggie to dodgy up a python
script to strip it and view it (but no time).

I guess Argus for them offers a receive and view option at least. I
dont think the lower end MO suite has a viewer facility (thats more the
upper end).

regards to all

JD
