We have had a close look at their proposed data model, and have concluded that they are barking up the right tree, although what they propose to implement is rather ambitious in its generality. It is a lot easier to create an information system for a particular purpose and setting than it is to create a more general one that can be easily customised to work in a wide range of settings - but the latter seems to be their goal. I wish them good luck - they might just pull it off.
