I actually think the more correct statement would be something like:
'If NEHTA wanted to preserve/obtain credibility they'd tell us what
their processes for integration of clinical practice input into their
decision-making are. Then they'd provide the public and the relevant
professions with regular progress reports, with dissenting views
outlined, of course'
