/*Virtual House Calls Can Cut Costs Without Hurting Quality of Care

"Virtual House Calls" is in one way a misnomer, because on home visits we are physically with the patient. They are really virtual consultations.

I suppose that they are regarded as "house calls" because the patient may be at home when emailing or videoconferencing with the doctor.

I think that such interactions can and should have a place in our care of our patients, for suitable situations, and the cost of providing them should be supported by health care funders including Medicare and private health funds.
