It sounds like a case of Life mimicking art. This is another organization run by Doctors for doctors. The Doctors all have PhDs. Geoff Sayer please note. Consultants all.

I wonder is NEHTA (or anyone else) getting its / their act together on this? *** NEHTA has explained to me that it can't give the names of GPs working for it, for "obvious privacy reasons". Apparently it is a government-funded organisation that operates in secret. Does this put it into the same category as ASIO and the SAS?. In view of this, we can't expect to know or to learn whether NEHTA is getting its act together on this or on any other issue. Should we treat NEHTA the same way that the men in Catch 22 treated the squadron's doctor after the crash of the plane on whose flight he had signed as a passenger? He had to fly for a certain number of hours, but was afraid of flying, so just signed on but didn't get into the planes. After the crash, none of the men would acknowledge that he was still alive and standing next to them and talking to them. They all just said to each other: "Poor old Doc - too bad about him", and he was forced to live a ghostly existence, skulking about being ignored by all. Is NEHTA asking to be treated in the same way?
