As some of you may know I have been doing only skin work at a clinic in Canberra since Sept 05. It started to become boring so I started up my and my wife’s own GP clinic where I do skin and GP work – this is now so busy that I can no longer afford to be at both clinics and I will be at my own Clinic fulltime as of mid Sept 06.
Unfortunately the OTD that was at the skin clinic had to go back to Thailand for personal reasons and we are unsure as to when/if he will be back.
The clinic is very well set-up and there is more than enough work – the Principal Doctor will be on her own and despite asking me to take all of my files with me can only book new patients from December onwards – it is very well set-up and designed with three consulting rooms that are each fitted out for minor procedures. She managed to get the ACT Medical Board’s permission to have the young Thai Doc work here under supervision so there are options. She works very closely with Academia and I have a lot of regard for her ethics and work skills.
I feel really bad about leaving her in the lurch so please contact me off the list if you know of anyone who feels like working in this type of environment in Canberra (A really nice Rural City that does not deserve the bad rap that it gets from being associated with the Pollies).
