I'm sure you're right and it only bothers pedantic old curmudgeons like me.

In fact, I'm certain that your typical health consumer clients aren't
the least bit worried when they point their newly installed copy of
Internet Explorer 7 Release Candidate (which is indeed vastly better
than Internet Explorer 6, but that's not saying much, and which has
almost caught up to Firefox 1.5, but which is still way behind Opera v9)
at your Web site at https://www.v-practice.com/ and it throws up a page
which says in very large letters:

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a
trusted certificate authority.

The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not
yet valid.

The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a
different website's address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or
intercept any data you send to the server.

We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this
website."

As soon as they see that, I'm sure they think to themselves "Yup, I
can't wait to record my intimate personal medical details on this web site."
