Hello to all,
May I ask my erudite colleagues a stupid question re virus scanners.
We have a file server at our clinic with 8 attached computers running on
XP Pro.The server can access the Internet directly but we very rarely
use that machine for that purpose.
All the attached computers have virus scanners (Bitdefender)on them as
they receive email but we have never had a virus scanner for over 10 yrs
on the server.
Am I a complete idiot for not doing so?
I'm a bit worried if I put bitdefender on the server it would slow the
network down too much.
My apologies if I've been a dork for all these yrs!
