One of the issues that has not been considered as far as I can see is the ongoing data updates (as distinct from software updates) To be fair to the surrent vendors, this is one area where it is possibly justified to charge on ongoing fee.
I am thinking fee updates to schedules and drug database. Does Medicare provide it's changes in an electronic format?
