I have a big powerware which will hold up the server and adsl modem for hours
(maybe 20-24)
but the tv&pvr machine has been running off the mains for well over a day and
a half now. it has 4 large 12V batteries with an inverter. the battery
charger is a large fan with 1.2 m blades.
With the current windy conditions, this could go for days.
