There is a distinction here between unencrypting data
one-patient-at-a-time and bulk export of unencrypted data.

Any user can get their data out of MD3 is they are prepared to open the
file of each patient sequentially and cut and paste into something else.

HCN's current position is that a bulk export/decryption utility is "a
work in progress".

If you suffer from claustrophobia I suggest don't move to MD3 (or any
other closed system) until a bulk export facility is shown to exist.
