It was published in a computer science journal, wasn't it? Of course, real computer scientists never write any actual program code - they just think about how they would write it if they ever absolutely forced to (I am not being entirely flippant, as anyone who has ever dipped into the wondrous computer science textbooks by Donald Knuth would know).
