If you install a new system, only put one drive in. Once everything works, put 
the sceond drive in (while everything is up and running). It will immediately 
begin to duplicate the drive onto the new drive.

If one drive fails, take it out (with the system up and running. Whenever you 
put a new drive in, it will be overwritten with the drive that is still 
running - regardless of which bay it is in.

ATTENTION: if your system is *not* up and running, and you replace a defect 
drive with the RAID box switched off, it will be fairly random which drive 
gets reconstructed from which after switching it on! -> ALWAYS swap drives 
with the system up and running
