Using what? Xen w/ PV capable processor? KQemu? Simply Wine? Desktop or server solution? Please let us know more details, sound very interesting. I still depend on the proprietary Win4Lin to run legacy software on our 100% Linux surgery which artificially ties me to kernels <= 2.6.14, and after savouring the benefits of the >= 2.6.17 kernel series (the difference is as huge as between Win98 and XP from use experience perspective) I simply resent it to have one machine artificially crippled just so that it can run legacy software. I wanted to run the whole setting under Xen (Xen virual machine runs barebones Linux from scratch w/ 2.6.14 kernel and just enough libraries to keep Win4Lin alive - that is a slick < 20MB system), but never got around it to do it properly for the surgery Horst _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
