   1. Got to answer that. rdp :-)

   2. I don't think anyone's going to be able to process 1/2 million
      passwords per second over your westnet connection. :-)

   3. Our Division has moved on from this. For the last two years our
      project has been aimed at housing the data at the ACF so that
      nurses can also put some useful data in and get some useful data
      out. The idea was that the docs can log in from anywhere. The
      drawback turned out to be that each facility wanted to do its own
      encryption and so you get into the multiple certificates and
      passwords and when some of the techies decided they wanted to
      change the passwords every six weeks it all broke down.

      There is also the problem of ACFs often having very limited IT
      support. The latest incarnation of the project is to house the
      data at the Division for one or more nursing homes. This gives us
      a single logon, with reasonable confidence in security, data
      backup and failover, while minimising the TCO.  This phase of the
      project starts in the New Year.

      Does the list think this kosher?
