So now the Hunter has an awful problem - one didnt talk to the other - we
will have 130 practices with Medical-Objects and over 200 specialists with
Argus!!

I cannot imagine that those 200 odd specialists will want to fork out $450 each just to receive or send correspondence to GP's, which is what they have
all shown interest in.

Something has to give.......

What do you do when contracts have been signed though?!

If this eventuates, Hunter doctors can be assured that consistent with our continual public support of 'open' messaging and 'interoperability', Argus will cooperate with Medical Objects to implement a means of passing messages between our clients. ie MO clients may send to Argus clients and Argus clients may send to MO clients. However this will be on two conditions:

1) That any cost of implementing and maintaining such a link will be borne by HUDGP.
and
2) that no specialist or any other clients using Argus and wishing to send to a MO client will incur any resulting cost either as a transaction cost, or setup cost.

MO and ArgusConnect have started discussions on the technical implementation of this. Once MO or HUDGP provide some assurances on this issue we can forge ahead.
