I could be wrong but I believe there is another issue with electronic
transmission of information requiring legal signature and that's storage of
said information.  The electronic signature requires to 'stay with the
document'.  I believe I recall that Medical Objects' transfer accomplishes
this.

When Jared and Andrew so graciously spent valuable time with me in August
demonstrating various aspects of the software, I asked Jared about this and
he demonstrated signing a message then receiving it, opening and there was
the 'signature' hash (do I have the correct term?) in all its glory and
stays with the  electronic document to where ever its destination.

But how do you accomplish this when you send the document as an attachment
in an email which is then 'stripped' off to be imported into an EHR?  Is the
attachment signed as well and I just don't know where to look?
