Tim,

The password is sent during registration via email.  The user can then
change this via the website prior to receiving secured attachments.

OK. Is the PDF decrypted by the recipient using a PKI certificate or a
password which is shared between 2hippos and the recipient? Abobe Reader
supports both forms of encryption (symmetrical and PKI), I think? If the
latter, how is the password securely conveyed tot he recipient?
