Since upgrading to MD2.89 there has been a problem with Argus. 2.89 has changed the format of the letter writer patient demographic: full name. Previously, full name provided the patient surname, fullname, whereas the new format provides the patient title, firstname and surname, i.e.: 2.88 - surname, first name eg. Smith, John 2.89 - title first name surname eg. Mr John Smith
Argus required the old format to put a HL7 wrapper around the letter, which is then placed automagically in the recipient's MD holding file, the same as pathology and radiology results. The new 2.89 patient full name format does not allow Argus to put the letter into a HL7 wrapper.
