The courts expect that the GP will follow up the patient
who has not presented for the recommended test or
specialist appopintment, otherwise, if an adverse outcome
occurs, the GP has been negligent.

This is the most absurd judicial ruling that has ever occurred
(amongst numerous absurd judicial rulings), but a precendent
has been made.
