Oh, and a charming touch is that the example patient is diagnosed as suffering from "St Anthony's Fire", rather than erysipelas as it would be more commonly called here. I wonder if they were aware that "St Anthony's Fire" also used to refer to egotism - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergotism If you look carefully, one of the other patients in the waiting room is clearly suffering from scrofula.
