Medicare is firmly entrenched in the dark ages. Not only do they sabotage any 
attempts at efficient automatization, they also still share a feudalistic 
mindset where usury is just accepted procedure.

Damn them. We have a first class public health system administered by third 
world style bureaucrats with 16th century mindsets. What a waste. Australia 
would have such a potential for being true world leader in public health
