So in summary, dropping CEN13606 as an EHR extract information exchange
format and the embrace of HL7v3 CDA as the clinical record format but
with an eye on developments in openEHR and synergies between it and the
HL7 CDA. HL7v2 will continue to act and be supported in the short to
medium term as the messaging protocol.
