I went to this course today with Randal Schwartz, where the entire
Learning Perl book is pushed into your head in one day.
Although completely overwhelming, it was a great day. Despite the
cracking pace, Randal took the time to answer any of our questions
and was able to address the concepts I've struggled with because of
my previously minimal use. Having finally understood some of these
means Perl code doesn't look hard to read anymore, and I'm looking
forward to putting it to good use.
