The only DMAPI agent i am aware of is a prototype that was written by tridge in 2008 to demonstrate a file based HSM system for GPFS.
its a working prototype, at least it worked in 2008 :-) you can get the source code from git : http://git.samba.org/rsync.git/?p=tridge/hacksm.git;a=summary just to be clear, there is no Support for this code. we obviously Support the DMAPI interface , but the code that exposes the API is nothing we provide Support for. thx.
