Alvise,

‘--version {version string}’ is supported by ‘--mmcrfs’ option. mmvdisk pass it
to ‘mmcrfs’ directly.
For example:
/usr/lpp/mmfs/bin/mmvdisk filesystem create --fs {fsname} --vs {vs name}
--mmcrfs --version 5.0.5.1

In this sample, ‘--version 5.0.5.1’ is pass to ‘mmcrfs’

主题: [EXTERNAL] [gpfsug-discuss] mmvdisk and --mmcrfs option
Hello everyone, I read in the documentation that --mmcrfs option of mmvdisk
command is conceived to pass to the latter options degined for the former
(mmcrfs). But it seems that is doesn't work for the specific command: mmvdisk
filesystem create

Hello everyone,

I read in the documentation that --mmcrfs option of mmvdisk command is
conceived to pass to the latter options degined for the former (mmcrfs).
But it seems that is doesn't work for the specific command:

mmvdisk filesystem create ..... --mmcrfs --version <string>

Something really silly that I am doing ? Is it possible to create on recent
GPFS versions, filesystem with old versions?

Thanks,

   Alvise
