Hi All,
Its that time of year when we are starting to plan putting together the agenda
for the main UK group meeting.
This year the event will be held at IBM Southbank on May 17th and 18th. This is
the first year that we are running a two day event which will hopefully give us
more chance to discuss and talk Spectrum Scale.
As usual we are interested in your input into what we should be asking IBM to
contribute to the discussion. So if you have ideas or areas which you'd like us
to try and cover, please let me know.
We've initially planned that the first day would follow the format of previous
meetings with a mix of IBM and user focussed talks. The second day we have a
number of breakout rooms available, so thought we'd try and run workshop/break
out sessions.
So what would you like to hear and talk about? Is cloud a hot topic? Do you
want to do a deep dive q&a on performance? At the ciuk group there was a
request for a frank discussion on licensing. Should we have a breakout focussed
on a specific sector, e.g. Media, life sciences?
We're also looking for some people to volunteer to do user talks at the event,
so if you are using Spectrum Scale and think people would be interested in
hearing about it, please let me know!.
As a two day event, we'd like to get a social event organised between days, so
any suggestions would be welcome! And we'd really appreciate a couple of
corporates to offer to help facilitate the social event (aka a call for funds
to support it!)
