This is what I got from support a few months ago when I had a problem with our "admin" user disappearing. "We have occasionally seen this issue in the past where it has been resolved by : /usr/lpp/mmfs/gui/cli/mkuser admin -p Passw0rd -g Administrator,SecurityAdmin This creates a new user named "admin" with the password "Passw0rd" " I was running 4.2.1-0 at the time iirc. ________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Matt Weil <[email protected]> Sent: 14 February 2017 20:17 To: [email protected] Subject: [gpfsug-discuss] GUI access Hello all, Some how we misplaced the password for our dev instance.
