Folks,
On behalf of Scale development, we're trying to gather a better picture of how GPFS and Scale users are deploying the product: what versions you run, what OSes you use, what major features of the product you use, and so on.
Simon Thompson and Bob Oesterlin kindly agreed to let us send out the survey on the User Group mailing list, and I hope that many of you will participate. A few FAQs that I expect you'll be wondering about:
-- No identifying information will be collected (including IP addresses)
-- You can provide as much or as little detail as you wish
-- We will share aggregated results back to the User Group (to the extent that it doesn't violate anybody's confidentiality)
-- Individual responses will NOT be shared in any public forum
-- If you are responsible for more than one Scale installation with different characteristics, feel free to fill out the survey separately for each one.
