And remember that a GPFS snapshot will only capture the disk as GPFS
knows about it - any memory-cached data held by databases etc will *not*
be captured (leading to the possibility of an inconsistent version being 
snapped).
You'll need to do some sort of handshaking with any databases to get them
to do a "flush everything to disk" to ensure on-disk consistency.
